Student message
Hi, I'm not a traditional Homestay seeker I'd assume. I'm a 46 year old poet with an MFA in Creative Writing. I'm returning to school to learn about Chinese Medicine and to become an Acupuncturist. I'll be a full-time student in a rigorous program that won't allow much time for out side work so I must find living arrangements that are inexpensive and within an hour's commute of the Wrigleyville/Lakeview area. $600 a month is the most I can afford. I have a car but would prefer to use public transportation.
I'd need a home where differences are respected and enjoyed as much as I respect and enjoy them as a gay man. I live a quiet life spending the most of my free time on the internet, writing, and reading. I love art and theater. I write a regular column called "Beyond the Words" about poetry for local writing group's newsletter in Louisville, KY.
Pets and children don't bother me. I do smoke but only where it bothers no one. If you do not allow smoking in you house, I certainly would never smoke there. I believe in respecting those around me and contributing to the comfort and enjoyment of all.
